Start Here: How to Start (and Stick With) Exercise Again
If you feel like you are always starting over, always trying to get back on track, or always wondering why consistency is so hard for you, this page is where to begin. It is the front door to everything we write, and it will point you to the right post for wherever you are right now.
Why is it so hard to stick with exercise?
Most people do not struggle with fitness because they lack information or willpower. They struggle because the plan they picked does not fit their actual life, so it works for a few weeks and then falls apart. The fix is not more discipline. It is choosing movement your body and schedule can actually support, then repeating it.
That is the whole idea behind this blog, and behind how we teach at our West St. Louis County Pilates studio. Many of our clients are women in their 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s who had given up on ever feeling consistent. They were never the problem. The all-or-nothing approach was.

How this connects to the studio
Everything here is exactly how we teach in person. Clear instruction, progress that builds over time, and classes that adjust to your body instead of the other way around. Clients come to us from Ballwin, Chesterfield, Town and Country, Fenton, and across West St. Louis County, and most of them arrive saying some version of the same thing: I just want something I can actually stick with.
You do not have to figure it all out first. You do not need to do everything, and you definitely do not need to do it perfectly. You just need to start somewhere.
